Seminar requirements

An Eplan user. Must have completed Electrical Design Essentials.

What topics will I learn?

• Placement of mounting rails and cable ducts in 3D control cabinets
• 3D placement of components on mounting plates, doors, etc.
• Use of 3D article data from the data portal
• Creation of 3D master data for the assembly of the mounting plate
• Generation of assembly-ready manufacturing documents
• Export of manufacturing data (NC, DXF, STEP) for switch cabinet production
• Optimisation of air conditioning and cable routing in the 3D control cabinet model
