3D Cable Design
Goals and objectives
Learn how to plan cable routing in machines realistically. You plan the relevant electrical engineering information in the circuit diagram and automatically transfer the schematic planning to the 3D model of the mechanics. This allows you to determine the exact cable lengths and cable routing for complete planning and documentation of the machine cabling, including all relevant manufacturing documents.
Who is this course aimed at?
For users who work in the planning of cables and the electromechanical cabling of machines and would like to get to know the basics of Eplan Cable proD. You may already have some experience of working with Eplan Electric P8.
How long is the course?
Online seminars - 3 days.
Seminar requirements
An EPLAN user.
Contents:
- Preparation and editing of electrical documentation
- Virtual cabling in the 3D model
- Routing through channels and cable trays
- Laying and determining cable lengths in the mechanical model
- Generation of documentation for production, assembly, and planning
- Linking circuit diagram information from Eplan Electric P8 and using 3D data from Eplan Pro Panel
- Optimisation of cable length determination on the digital twin
