Goals and objectives
Learn how to represent PLC systems and bus systems in EPLAN in a structured and efficient manner. You will learn how to plan complex automation systems clearly and document the project consistently. You will also learn how to save time and improve the quality of your documentation by integrating PLC and bus systems.

You are an EPLAN user who works on complex projects with representations of PLC and industrial BUS topologies.

Seminar requirements
You have completed EPLAN Electric P8 basic, Electrical Design Expert, EPLAN Electric P8 refresh or Electrical Design Refresh.
Contents
- Creating PLC assemblies and cards
- Using the PLC Navigator and other navigators
- Integration of bus systems (e.g., Profinet, Ethernet)
- Linking PLC assemblies with circuit diagrams and field devices
- Checking and coordinating bus systems within the EPLAN project environment
- Automatic addressing and evaluation
- Data exchange via AML format
