Are you compliant?

Before embarking on any update of EPLAN Software, you must ensure your IT Hardware and operating systems are compliant.

The approved software requirements for your EPLAN Version can be found in the relevant performance description.

Workstation / Desktops & Laptops

 The approved software requirements for your EPLAN Version can be found in the relevant performance description.

 EPLAN Platform 2024 is compatible with the following operating systems as stated in the prerequisites of the performance description:

 Workstation:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 (64 Bit) Version 22H2, 21H2 and 21H1
  • Microsoft Windows 11 (64 Bit) Version 22H2 and 21H2

 Hardware recommended configuration:

  • Intel Core i5, i7, i9 or compatible processor *2
  • Processor: Multicore CPU, not older than 3 years
  • Memory: 16GB
  • Hard Drive: 500GB, min. 50GB free space (recommendation, SSD)
  • Monitor/Graphics Resolution: 2-screen solution with a resolution of at least 1280 x 1024 recommended 1920 x 1080
  • D display: Dedicated graphics card from AMD (ATI) or Nvidia with current Direct3D 11+ / OpenGL driver 3.2+ with 2GB RAM (recommend 4GB RAM+) *3

 *1: Type ‘WINVER’ in command prompt to check the Windows build

 *2: Preferred - fast-clocked machine with fewer CPU cores to a slow metered machine with more CPU cores

 *3: A dedicated Graphics card comparable to Nvidia Quadro 600 or higher should be used for EPLAN Pro Panel / EPLAN Harness proD

SQL Server (if not using the EPLAN internal databases)

 EPLAN License Server

 Hardware Server:

  • 1.4GHz 64-bit processor minimum
  • 4GB RAM recommended
  • Typically 1GB EPLAN License Manager

Are you ready for the EPLAN Cloud?

The latest versions of EPLAN Platform 2022 and 2023 will require a user to sign into the software.

Each Customer Company has an Organisation where you can access the EPLAN Data Portal, EPLAN eManage, EPLAN eView, and other cloud-based systems.

If you are the first user in the company to update, you must login to the EPLAN Download Area with your license Serial number and Customer ID.

Once logged in, select “To the download”

The download area is utilised Step by Step.

Right-click the “Get Started” open link in a new tab or window.

Complete the data as required. Select “Continue”.

You will be asked to verify your email address, check your e-mails and verify.

If a company organisation already exists for the license, the email will inform you of the Organisation name.

Once verified, a password can be created for your account.

You can login to the Cloud area.

You have successfully completed the creation of an Organisation.
