Goals and objectives
Learn detailed knowledge in the area of EPLAN macro and device technology and create your own standardised library of subcircuits. Standardise your construction process, increase the quality of your projects and reduce the planning effort by reusing the partial circuit you have created.

You have completed EPLAN Electric P8 basic training or EPLAN Electric P8 refresh training.
What topics I will learn?
Learn the basics for efficient management of sub-circuits (macro project)
- Create your own circuit diagram macros and store them in the library
- Use macro boxes for automated macro generation
Build and structure macros for multiple reusability
- Set up and structure sub-circuits modularly
- Update sub-circuits in circuit diagrams
Create variable macros and assign value sets
- Create variable partial circuits
- Use sets of values to reduce macro data
Take over manufacturer data from the EPLAN Data Portal and manage it centrally
- Quickly search for device or symbol macros from different manufacturers
- Import manufacturer data
