    1. BASIC TRAINING

Unlock the full potential of your software with this step-by-step road map of training courses.

8 Days training across part 1 and part 2

Forget trial and error, kick start your EPLAN journey the right way with the basic Electric P8 training. Strongly recommended for all EPLAN users, this training makes daily work-life easier as you learn and apply various design methods in accordance with standards, create complex schematic documentation and use automatic features to reduce time.

    2. MACRO AND DEVICE TECHNOLOGY

    2 Days training

Do you start your projects from scratch? Even customised designs will still contain frequently used elements such as motor starters or circuit breakers. Do you copy and paste partial circuits from old projects? Whilst it feels like a convenient solution this can be tricky and time-consuming, often resulting in a designer replicating mistakes. In this training you will create and structure your own standardised library of sub circuits using EPLAN macro and device technology which can be reused to save time and minimise mistakes.

    EBUILD AUTOMATION

    2 Days training

Are sections of your designs the same but have different numbers or parts? Are you copying sections of design from older projects, then modifying the data? The eBUILD configurator lets you automatically build a section in your design whilst updating the numbering formats for the present project. No more deleting old data after copying in schematics. A few clicks and some or all of your design can be automated from your library, whether it’s the safety circuit, PLC pages or even taking in data from a list to create the circuits.

    3. PART AND MASTER DATA CREATION

    2 Days training

This is a crucial building block in your design process. To further shorten lead times, avoid errors and increase quality of designs, your parts database must be carefully created and managed. During this training you will extensively study the management and creation of forms, symbols and plot frame to help you do this.

    4. PLC and BUS Systems

    2 Days training

Do you work on complex projects with representations of PLC and industrial BUS topologies? Increase the quality of your projects, standardise your design process and significantly reduce your project planning effort as you gain detailed knowledge in the area of project planning for PLC controls and bus systems. Learn to transfer AML files from EPLAN to the PLC application.

    5. SET UP TRAINING

    2 Days trainingECE_logo_2024-2027

By this point, you will now be efficient at designing with EPLAN. But what about managing the platform? Do you know how to effectively update and install the software so that you can continue designing in the most optimal way? During this training you will learn how to do this through practical examples for automated installation and improving your digital workflow.

    6. PRODUCT STRUCTURING

    2 Days trainingECE_logo_2024-2027

Need to compartmentalise your system or machine, break it down into manageable design sections? Whether you show the machine section in terms of function such as power supply or a drive section is it useful to show with its associated inputs and outputs. Learn to decompose your system into the areas of functionality or based upon where the component is situated or mounted. Gain an understanding on how you can decompose your systems for easier schematic creation and simple diagram.
