Goals and objectives

Apply the theoretical specifications from the relevant standards in practice using a specific example project. You will learn how standards are applied in a structured manner to make documentation and project planning more efficient. You will also learn how clear structuring and classification ensure the quality and traceability of your projects. In addition, you will receive practical tips on how to consistently implement standard specifications in your daily project work.

Seminar requirements

You have completed EPLAN Electric P8 basic, Electrical Design Expert, EPLAN Electric P8 refresh or Electrical Design Refresh.

Contents 

• Implementation of IEC 81346-1 and -2 in Eplan 

• Document classification using the IEC 61355-1 standard 

• Rules for displaying documents according to IEC 61082-1 

• Methods of product structuring  

• Functional structuring of machines and systems  

• Application of standard specifications for standardised project creation 

• Checking and optimising documentation for standard compliance and consistency
